DESCRIPTION:Course Description\nThe Disability Employment Program Manager (DEPM) course provides federal professionals with essential skills to build and sustain a compliant\, accessible\, and inclusive disability program. The program blends legal foundations\, practical application\, and strategic leadership to strengthen agency compliance with the Rehabilitation Act\, the Architectural Barriers Act (ABA)\, ADAAA\, ADA\, and MD 715 requirements. Over four sessions (10:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.)\, participants gain practical knowledge in reasonable accommodation management\, barrier analysis\, digital and physical accessibility\, emergency planning\, service animals\, interviewing with people with disabilities\, etiquette\, recruitment strategies\, and special hiring authorities. The course emphasizes real world application through tools\, templates\, and case exercises.
